Stepping Stone Program
Foul Play is proud to continue the Stepping Stone program, providing a First Nations Australian or a culturally and linguistically diverse non-trained actor or aspiring creative the opportunity to understudy a character or a lead creative on a company production.
The Stepping Stone program provides participants with practical experience of professional rehearsal processes and a hand-on production outcome in a collaborative and supportive environment. It also works to ensure Foul Play's works are developed and produced with First Nation Australian and/or CALD voices included in the process at every stage.
Stepping Stone is part of Foul Play's long term strategy to enhance participation for a diversity of underrepresented practitioners and develop a pool of artist that will continue to work with Foul Play (and other companies) on future productions.
Previous participants: Alira McKenzie Williams (Yerma 2019), Karen Lovegrove (Julie 2017) and Tayla White (Julie 2017)
This program is funded by Arts South Australia.
